SEASONS
CAN I ASK FOR THIS DANCE?
Vivaldi's Four Seasons are unique. At a given moment in time, each season touches on the exact mood that we commonly accept as specific to that season, without any preconceived ideas, in a natural, intuitive way. Weis has naturally placed different moods in each of the seasons, and he succeeds in describing life in a magnificent way. Sincere and free, he delivers a composition that goes beyond preconceived ideas of the famous Four Seasons.
This is the case with many musical works that have marked us throughout our lives and whose interpretation would be fixed if they were not revisited and freed from the straitjacket of the collective imagination, anchored and associated in our respective memories. The seasons bring a fresh, new and surprising wind and flavour to everything.
